Something I failed to do a few years ago was post the Christmas Card I put together for my own family.  So, here you go.  The caricature design of my family was created by Norman Johnson.  He's awesome!  I'd link his website but I can't seem to find one.

I love doing stuff like this!  I wonder what I'll come up with for this year?  Just in case you're curious, I had them printed at Vista Print.  They were the only place I could find that would do post card style (back and front) printing.  Plus their prices where pretty good.

Have a great week!

Twi-fic Banners

I read A LOT of Twilight fanfiction. My family calls it an obsession... ehh (shrugs shoulders) maybe... I like to refer to it as... ok... so maybe it's an obsession. Whatever. So, I read it a lot.

One of my most favorite authors, Coldplaywhore (who totally kicks ass, btw) asked to have a banner made. I'd never done one... but had always wanted to, so I raised my hypothetical hand and said "me, me, me!". Apparantly the craziness I created was well liked (much to my surprise), and so here I am. Twific Banner Maker. Who woulda thought?!? Then, months later, Mrs. CPW says, "Hey, why don't you create a blog for your banners, or something?" So I kinda sorta already had a blog that I kinda sortof forgot about. And so here we are...

Just FYI - I hold no copyrights to any of the utilized images AT ALL.  I'm just playing with them.  (Not sure if that is important to mention, but I'm a firm believer in CYOA!)

Links to stories are Teal.

This was my very first banner.  :D

Dancing On My Own by: Coldplaywhore

And then there were two... banners that is... much to my surprise and amazement CPW asked me to do another banner for her.

The Runner by: Coldplaywhore
Coldplaywhore needed a banner for an article she wrote for Smut University, because she knows how to rock that $%!#.  Here's what I came up with...

For those of you familiar with fanfiction, she does ask a valid question... just sayin!

Then, I was blown away when another author, Savannah Greye, whom had seen some of my stuff via CPW's facebook, asked me to do a banner for her story.

Lights of Life by: Savannah Greye

And my most recent banner is for CPW.  She is hosting an Olympic Twi-fic contest called Going for the Gold. For contest details, go here.

I have a few other banners in the works.  :D  I'll post them up as soon as they're done.

Diaper Cake...

I got an opportunity this past weekend to play.  A coworker of mine is having a baby next month, so we had a "Diaper Shower" at work during lunch today.  I've been wanting to make one of these for a while now.  I've posted a few pics below.  It was the first one I had done in several years.  Let me know what you think!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving... chat with you soon!

Bubble Popper

Yep... I burst my own bubble today.  I hate it when that happens.  I made these cards with the intent to reproduce them and maybe sell them in sets.  But a lovely little symbol on the bottom of my sheet of stickers caught my attention and I could literally hear a "pop" sound in my brain.  Copyright.  I respect it.  I do.  I really didn't even think about it until I saw that annoying little symbol.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I can't scan and print my made projects.  That would constitute as "reproduction".  Now, if I wanted to hand make each card in the set then that would be fine.  Right?  Oh well... they're still fun to make.  Here's two of my samples....

So, that's that.  Until next time my lovelies!

Beginnings...

So here I am ... have you ever noticed the moment you think you're in the clear, you know, when you finally get to do what YOU want to do, those are the times you get bombarded the most?  I've just had one of those moments.  So now, more than an hour later, I'm trying to post my first ... post, comment, blog... whateveryoucallit??

At this time, I don't quite know what, if any, my expectations are for this blog.  I've never done a blog.  But I would like a place to post my crafts, and get feed back, while possibly selling some. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I created my families Christmas card last night.  I would post it on here, but I'd like to get them in the mail first before ruining the surprise.  I'm real excited about them.  Otherwise, I have a few other projects in the works.  I'll post them soon!  Anywho, feel free to say HI! I'd love to hear from you!  Oh, and btw, I'm still working on this site...bare with me!
